Abstract
The article examines the ways in which the consequences of the Great War reverberated through practices of film consumption and, at the same time, the strategies through which cinema itself sought to rework and consolidate its public memory between 1918 and 1922. Within this framework, cinema emerges as a site of symbolic negotiation between collective trauma, commemorative imperatives, and new forms of cultural consumption in the immediate postwar period.File in questo prodotto:
