Starting from two unpublished Romanesque-era emergences in the Po Valley between the provinces of Parma and Mantua, the paper proposes a reflection on the problem of the relationship between large and small emergences in a given territory and between similar territories in the same geographical-historical area.

Partendo da due emergenze inedite di epoca romanica della Valle del Po tra le province di Parma e Mantova, il contributo propone una riflessione sul problema della relazione tra grandi e piccole emergenze in un dato territorio e tra territori analoghi nel medesimo areale geografico-storico.
