The present book offers a collection of texts focusing on specialized languages, in particular the various languages of science. As receivers will realize upon reading the text, the extracts presented here are taken from different types of works (from highly scientific to literary texts in which the discourse of science is inserted into the narrative), and they are used to develop a discussion of the way these same specialized languages are used in audio-visual products such as films, television series, documentaries, videos etc.
