In 2005, the MIUR co-financed an International Research Project, about the “Survey of the amphitheater of Durres: knowledge of a monument to the world’s cultural heritage”. During the missions, carried out until 2012, the research group conducted different types of survey: archaeological, architectural and urban, which integrated several methods of measurement. In an attempt to reconstruct the overall amphitheater geometry, a graphical analysis was also developed on the metric restitution of the survey.
