LAS NORMAS PARA LA AUDIODESCRIPCIÓN: LA FIGURA DEL DIRECTOR Y EL MONTAJE. ANÁLISIS CONTRASTIVO

The analysis of Audio description is an activity that has been performed for centuries. However, only recently begins to be object of study from the intersemiotic translation (Jakobson, 1959). In this paper our aim is to examine Spanish (norma UNE 153020: 2005), Italian (Cinema senza Barriere, Blindsight), French (Charte de la AD - France 2008) and British (ITC 2000 UK and OfCom UK 2006) guidelines, to observe affinities and differences hoping to shed light to the already collected in these documents. So, in particular, we will focus on the role of the Director and the editing in the different guidelines and the consequences in the script.
