My paper aims to show to what extent Husserl’s phenomenological theme of givenness (Gegebenheitsweise) of objective transcendence brings significant consequences if one compares it with the question of the mode of being (Seinsweise) of the object. If the central question of German Idealism is how the being (I, thing, mind etc.) can be established per se or for us from different points of view (transcendental, speculative etc.), for Husserl on the contrary it is important to establish the ways in which it can be determined in its givenness thanks to the acts of consciousness.

Abstract
My paper aims to show to what extent Husserl’s phenomenological theme of givenness (Gegebenheitsweise) of objective transcendence brings significant consequences if one compares it with the question of the mode of being (Seinsweise) of the object. If the central question of German Idealism is how the being (I, thing, mind etc.) can be established per se or for us from different points of view (transcendental, speculative etc.), for Husserl on the contrary it is important to establish the ways in which it can be determined in its givenness thanks to the acts of consciousness.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
