With reference to Catullus 67,34, the latest modern editions seem to ignore or quote with erroneous attribution assumptions a humanistic conjecture, Veronae…tuae, instead of the OGR’s reading Veronae...meae. This paper aims to reconstruct the genesis of this conjecture in the context of the philological labor of Francesco Pucci (1463-1512) and to study its possible echoes in a poem from the Numeri of Nicolò d’Arco (1479-1546).

Abstract
With reference to Catullus 67,34, the latest modern editions seem to ignore or quote with erroneous attribution assumptions a humanistic conjecture, Veronae…tuae, instead of the OGR’s reading Veronae...meae. This paper aims to reconstruct the genesis of this conjecture in the context of the philological labor of Francesco Pucci (1463-1512) and to study its possible echoes in a poem from the Numeri of Nicolò d’Arco (1479-1546).File in questo prodotto:
