This publication is a new step of the research project Corpus of Greek Medical Papyri managed by the editor of the series. This volume is a continuation of GMP I that was published in 2001. The new volume contains the results of work completed during the interim by an international team of scholars participating in the ‘Corpus dei Papiri Greci di Medicina’ Project. Most of the papyri were either previously unpublished or descripta, edited here in full for the first time. They range in date from the third century BC to the seventh century AD, and are housed in different papyrus collections. The contents of the new texts are equally diverse: Medical Treatises (1–3), Receptaria and Prescriptions (4–9), a List of Medical Tools (10). Revisions of previously published papyri are also included (11–15).
