The 1917 events in Russia had a widespread and varied echo throughout Italy. It was caused by the different ways and speed through which the notice reached Italy, but also by the different ability to intercept deep-rooted expectations and similarly strong fear. This paper intends to analyze these variegated backlashes, giving pa ticular attention to Parma as a case-study, namely the town that had stood out as the capital of interventionism based on revolutionary trade-unionism ideas.
