Abstract

The invention relates to powder particles comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of 8-hydroxy-5-[(1R)-1-hydroxy-2-[[(1R)-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-methylethyl]amino]ethyl]-2(1H)-quinolinone (carmoterol) having improved adhesion properties for dry powder formulations for inhalation. The invention also relates to methods for preparing them, corresponding formulations in the form of powders for inhalation and uses thereof.
